I am aware of the 10 digit limitation in dbf. Qgis 1.8.0 did not create those long names when saving joins - it just used the attribute names from the joined file not including the filename.
I was wondering if there is (or should be) an option to choose how columns are named (long/short)? ----- Regards Morten Qgis 1.8.0 Stand alone installer and/or Qgis 1.9.0 Weekly in Win7 64 bit -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/Naming-of-attribute-columns-in-joined-files-tp5077022p5077042.html Sent from the Quantum GIS - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Qgis-user mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user
