Hello Jonathan, Do you think about saving as a project? When you save the project - it include path, CRS, colour/style, label, printcomposer - everything. http://qgis.org/en/docs/user_manual/introduction/qgis_configuration.html#project-properties

I know I can save the style, but I want to save everything about the layer including data location etc in a file which I can then share with others. The style only saves the style. I can't seem to find such a function - is there one?
