Hi Philippe,

For a quick answer, I shall recommand you two possibilities to export high resolution maps :
- You can use the map composer /  then  you can adjust the quality at the level you want in the  "composition" / then you can export as an image ;
- You can use the plugin "GeorefExport" ;

I'm sure there are other solutions, but I help those will help you for a begining  ...
