See if this fixes it - https://hub.qgis.org/issues/12577

Right click on your vector file. Go to Properties -> Rendering -> Turn off simplify Geometry.

It appears to be an issue with the way QGIS is handling that projection.

I hope that works!

Thank you Randal.

No, I'm not applying SVG styles. It happens even with a layer with single style.

I've tried running QGIS with no plugins, or with different layers, but I got same behavior. In Windows it's ok.

Are you applying a SVG Style?

I'm running Ubuntu 16.04 (xubuntu) with the same repo and it's not
Crashing - BUT - it did when applying an SVG style at 2.14.0 and
2.14.1 - but I think that issue is fixed now (or it has stopped
    for me).

Sorry, i mistook data. It's QGIS 2.14.2 and Ubuntu 16.04

But I'm in same trouble: QGIS closes unexpectedly specially (but
not always) when I apply a style

Running from terminal, when it happens, I get this message:
    /
    /
/ERROR 6: EPSG PCS/GCS code 53009 not found in EPSG support
files. Is this a valid EPSG coordinate system?
    Violación de segmento/ (Segmentation fault?)

My QGIS repo is http://qgis.org/debian xenial main

Please some idea about what it's wrong? It's a 2.14.2 QGIS bug?

        Hi there:

        QGIS 2.14.3 - Ubuntu 16.04

My QGIS installation begun to fail since I've updated to
2.14.3. It closes unexpectedly. I have not found a patron,
sometimes it's in a zoom, changing style, trying to open a
        layer, etc.

        Someone has similar trouble?

Before update, all was fine. Is it something in new packets?
Perhaps it's a plugin?. Compiz effects? Ubuntu's classic desktop?

Please if some has an idea, it's welcome.
