Hi Stuart,

can you secify your data format? is it GPX? Not all data formats are editable in QGIS. You can try with right mouse click on your data layer -> export -> save features as and then choose a format like shapefile or better geopackage...

bets regards

Stefan

I am a first-time user of QGIS (3.16.0) for orienteering mapping. I have been through the tutorials and have a reasonable plot from my GPS and sketched field data, but now have to rotate the data to Magnetic North. I select all my data, but the “Rotate Feature(s)” (and all the other “Move” buttons)  remains greyed and inoperative. After some looking, I can’t find where the tutorials deal with this type of editing.

Ideas please.
