Hi stewart, no need to rotate the data to magnetic north, do that in the
composer.
Are you setting some maprun events out at Stanthorpe?
I have a QGIS template for creating maprun style maps from OSM data.

I am a first-time user of QGIS (3.16.0) for orienteering mapping. I
have been through the tutorials and have a reasonable plot from my GPS
and sketched field data, but now have to rotate the data to Magnetic
North. I select all my data, but the “Rotate Feature(s)” (and all the
other “Move” buttons) remains greyed and inoperative. After some
looking, I can’t find where the tutorials deal with this type of editing.
Ideas please.
