first go to Menu->Settings->User Profiles->open active profile folder
then go one folder up...you will see all the profiles. The profile.ini
shows your default profile which you can change
a profile folder looks like this one:
now you can copy things from one folder to the other...at the moment I
don't know a better way. We are working on a Profile manager plugin to
make this easier, which should be ready soon

Did you try it also with a new profile?
Just make a new prrofile and test it again: Menu->Settings->User
Profiles->New Profile
If QGIS don't chrashes again, then your user profile is corrupt...
