QGIS itself is also installed by the user :)
But it doesn't mean the user is to blame for bugs in it, or can be expected to fix them. Same counts for plugins.

Maybe instead of making new profiles, we can have functions for fixing an existing profile?

- Turn off all plugins
- Remove all plugins
- Remove all custom expressions
- Remove startup script
- ...

In a usual suspect kind of order?

Maybe Stefan's Profile Manager will do it?
