I have used “gdal_contour” for deriving contours.

The QGIS interface for this tool is quite incomplete. If you are afraid
of terminal window, then the “Additional command line parameters” should
be specified.

.P.S. Sooner or later You should learn to use scripts as QGIS is not
designed for raster analises :)

I am trying to get a contour(s) line(s) derived from a DEM. I am using
the Raster Extractor (from Raster Processing Tool).
The problem with this tool is that it does not appear to have a MIN/MAX
function. So it get over 1.5 million line segments.
Is there a way to define the contour OR is there another tool I can use?
