That's interesting (and getting a little off-topic, sorry!)
EPSG:9988 [ITRF2020]
and
EPSG:7914 [ETRF1989]
have the exact same definition, only the area is different.
(and I get the exactly same coordinates when transforming to 25833)
Is there an additional step I am missing?

0.7m seems like it could be ETRF vs ITRF. My experience in the US is
that RTK is ~always in EPSG:6319, NAD83(2011) epoch 2010.0, but I gather
there is some culture of RTK in ITRF.
