Niclas Hedhman commented on QI-48:
----------------------------------

Actually, I now think that Layers and Modules should not be involved at all.
The ReSTful Access Extension acts as a pure client and the regular visibility
rules should simply apply.

> Support for retrieving all Entity types registered.

> The ReST Entity API should support retrieval of all registered entity types.
> I am suggesting that this is mounted on the following URL;
> /entity   -> return all registered entities
> Also, I think this should take the query parameters "layer" and "module" to
> allow a particular layer or a particular module to be selected.
> Example;
> http://localhost:8182/entity?layer=domain
> http://localhost:8182/entity?layer=domain&module=accounting
> http://localhost:8182/entity?module=accounting
> The last case should find all modules in the system named accounting
> irregardless of which layer.
> I sugges the following format of the returned document;
> <types>
>   <layer name="{layername}">
>     <module name="{modulename}" >
>     <type href="{typereference}">{type-classname}</type>
>     <type href="{typereference}">{type-classname}</type>
>     </module>
>   </layer>
> </types>
