Well Niclas, try your best. I am quite sure everything is possible with Maven, simply because too many projects, small and big, simple and multi-modular ones, use it on a daily basis, and even on the release phase (something I never even planned to do).
Each time I stumbled upon a serious blocking problem, I went over it, googling and googling again in the hope that the lack of documentation will be filled by a blog entry of someone, somewhere struggling like me, for a reason to keep on using Maven... What else can I say but, try your best and sorry, I cannot help. In french, we sometimes say : "*Courage fuyons" -- could be roughly translated to " courage - flee !"* Regards, phil On Tue, Jan 26, 2010 at 3:18 PM, Niclas Hedhman <[email protected]> wrote: > On Tue, Jan 26, 2010 at 10:11 PM, Rickard Öberg <[email protected]> > wrote: > > > What about the other Apache tool, Buildr? > > Buildr is on top of (or side of) Rake, which is effectively clever use of > Ruby. > > I have not looked into it yet, and hoping for more feedback on what > kind of choices are really available. > > > I agree that we are reaching, or have reached, the tolerable pain point > with > > Maven. > > Yeah, and you guys barely see it.
