Thank you Paul for the helpful instructions. 

For the next Qi4j release, I suggest putting the complete samples inside the
Qi4j distribution. Checking out code that I already downloaded seems to miss
the point. ;-) Though I won't mind if the samples themselves refer to
artifacts in OPS4J repository.
