Rickard& Niclas, are you still on board of this beautiful ship ?
How are you respective qi4j-based projects going ?
And yes, we could definitely release 1.0.1 with the latest changes, so we
have a release for that, rather than having to use snapshots. Niclas, what
are your thoughts on that?
On semi-related issue:
I remember someone talking about Qi4j and RDBS support. I'm not sure
if this is what they meant, but I have coded a prototype for
RDBMS-indexing. It keeps track of entity state data in RDB world via
JDBC, and translates Qi4j queries into SQL queries. However, current
version is quite unfinished - couple courses started in uni in middle
of everything, and now I'm writing two scientific articles besides
working daily.
But if there is enough interest, I can perform some clean-up and
documentation of code and commit it via git or something. So that
someone who actually has time, can do some work on it - it has been
untouched on my HDD for last month or two. I haven't exactly tested
current version, however I've come to this version through 3
iterations, so it should work at least on conceptual level.
What say you?
