Ok, I suggest; I will see if there are any obvious things that may
affect compatibility and adjust if needed. Internals can be improved
in "background"...
Oh, and it works only for PostgreSQL at the moment. After code
cleanup, it should be quite easy to add implementations for other
RDBMS's.
