If we manage to find a time when we all (apparently so far Rickard + Niclas + myself) are awake, I'd say Skype is *the* best way for this kind of thing. Its support for multi-user conversations is superior to anything else I've encountered, and indeed, we have had our Skype discussion room with work collegues running for 2 years in a row now, without a single difficulty or bug.

My main object to mailing list is that it is too slow and clumsy if we really want to have a good conversation and idea-exploration talk. Of course no big decision is made without the support from mailing list, but the brainstorm IMO could be held better in IM conversations.
