The checking of the 5Gb partition is not too long, it was around 18Gb at one
point and that took a little longer than I wanted.

But I am quite surprised on the speed of Linux on a 66mhz Q60 and X is very
usable as well.

I have got CDROM writing working OK on a Traxdata 2260 PLUS CDRW, it only
does 6x on read and 2x on write, I am hoping to get a faster one.

I was having a look at BurnIT, a front end for cdrecord, but it uses Java.
What would be the best Java compiler/interpreter to use on Q60 Linux.

I was always thinking of getting onto SMSQ/E... I have downloaded the Kaffe
implemetation, but not had time to try it.
