You hay be onto something there - I did have one PC that only worked after the case (and I mean CASE - not the power supply) was changed. n fact, in one case it was dead (no signs of life whatsoever except for the fans coming on) in the other it worked and is still working without a problem. I rationalize it by assuming the non-working case somwhow mwchanically warped components so contacts were loose, but it being a PC, now that it works, I really can't be bothered with it any more...
