Sorry to sound so unnethusiatic but I cannot see that it is going to serve
any real purpose.

As I said in another email better to be able to cinfigure the program so it
has default locations for the program information and the data storage area.
Also let users specify these with parameters when they start up the program.

All problems to my miond are solved then.
