The only time I've had messages concerning ROMs not being recognised was when I had an external EPROM attached to the EPROM slot, but that's inside my MinisQL and might not be the same on a QL. Thinking it might be the EPROM card contacts I pulled it apart, cleaned the contacts gently with an eraser and put it all back together and it worked. The EPROM contacts may not have been the problem, but the act of partly dismantling the MiniSQL and putting it back together did make it work, what I can't tell is which of the various parts dismantled had the effect. It must have been poor contacts somewhere in the system but I have never been able to pin it down (if you'll forgive the pun). -- Dilwyn Jones _______________________________________________ QL-Users Mailing List http://www.q-v-d.demon.co.uk/smsqe.htm
