So if you want an alternative word which matches the rest in its wrongness, but passes the spell checker, you have to omit the apostrophe. So the original was correct in its incorrectness.

Perfectly correct, there is nothing worse than the Word spell checker, as I wanted to point out, it can't adjudicate between two perfectly correct spellings, of the common indefinite article, according to its context (correct possessive case of the pronoun), therfore it's useless!!!
