Yes, but I have heard that the latest Wine0.9 release (after 12 years of development the first version they consider good enough to be the "beta release") has better DirectX support. Haven't tested it, though, it's not yet in the stable Gentoo distribution. Plus I only access the PC via VNC, therefore tests are usually worse than on a desktop machine.
