There were two programs which often got mixed up.

SideWriter was a sideways text page printing program which essentially
worked by putting the spreadsheet sideways and printing it as graphics
using QL fonts! Sounds nuts, but it worked. Sector software had a
similar program, not sure of its name, probably WriteTurn or something
like that.

The other was called OmniDump, which was sold by Sector Software for a
while for use with Page Designer 2. It was a Turbo compiled program
which printed Page Designer 2 pages in a fixed selection of sizes and
orientations. It doesn't work on SMSQ/E systems because of a hard
coded reference to either the screen or system variables (I forget
which). QL World tried to compare it to Sidewriter (by Steve Jones of
Zitasoft) and Grafix (by Chas Dillon/PDQL) at one point, which killed
Omni Dump as it was never intended to compete with such fantastic
general purpose screen and DTP page printing programs like Grafix and
Sidewinder. It was only for PD2 pages.
