When I first heard about the Goldfire project I was interested but  
saw that I would have to amend GWASS so that it would run on the new  
machine and so that it would produce code for the new instructions  
involved. It would (will?) be quite a task.

Now that there is a real prospect of QPC2 being upgraded to contain  
68020+ instructions, as I showed in a prototype in Manchester, I am  
reasonably happy to use an emulator rather than hardware in the future.
