I 100% agree - this is why I'd like my original motherboard *repaired* rather than replaced... Otherwise, the only /truly/ original bits are the keytops, the bottom of the case and the ROM chips... Not the same thing at all. Mind you, my original does have a ceramic 68008, wheras all of the subsequent QLs I've picked up have the plastic cased version.
