I did a quick test and found that writing to DD disks is OK until v2.91, both on QL+SGC (with Mitsubishi ED drive) and on Aurora+SGC (with Sony ED drive). With v2.93 the QL is still OK but the Aurora hangs, like all next versions including the new 3.13. It looks like something was changed between v2.91 and v2.93 to introduce this bug.
