Sorry I forgot that Jim uses the '.' separator and not the '_' . I was
not thinking when I was typing then.

I don't think you understand the problem. I am not trying to install
QDT. I already have it installed will lay it out again:
I am trying to send an upgrade to a customer.
I have the file Jim sent to me by email. This is a ZIP file with the
above three files in it.
When I first did the distribution of QDT I unzipped the emailed file to
RAM1_
I then copied this to the floppy disks for the customers.
Now when I do the same thing I find that the file on RAM1_ will unzip
but the exact same file copied to the floppy disk by any of the file
managers fails with an error message. The only way I could get around
the problem and get the upgrade to the customer was to unzip directly to
the floppy disk.

I did not try to install QDT because I did not want to affect my own
installation so I used unzip to extract the files to RAM2_ to test the
archive. I also tried t read it with ACP and it would read the RAM1_
archive but not the FLP1_ copy.

ACP has been set up on my machine for ages and works perfectly except in
this case. I also have FileInfo II set up to either 'call ACP' or 'unzip
to RAM1_' This has been like this for years with no problem. I cannot
understand why copying a valid ZIP archive from RAM1_ to FLP1_ breaks
it. I will investigate further.
