The US QL User Guide shows the pin outs on SER1 to be the same as Tony listed. But, it also shows SER2 with the same pinout, but it mentions that SER1 is DTE and SER2 is DCE, which means that pin 2 and 3 should be swapped on SER2. It looks like SER1 pin 2 is TxD which shows as "output" and on SER2 pin is also TxD, but showing as "input".
