Jan, I'm located in the Philippines, and do a some PCB manufacuring for our games. Mostly the PCB are manufactured in China and Singapore. Perhaps i could assist in the production if you want to get the price down?
I saw your schematics and was thinking that it might be possible to reduce the logic with a CPLD. I use Xilinx a lot in our designs, and it really shrinks the board size and complexity.
