Subject: [Ql-Users] QUANTA Magazine

Even Geoff might have a few words to say but then it'll be 'Just Words'.{:-))

I don't think you would really like that.

Quanta may be 25 years old, but a certain highly placed personage within the organisation and I go back much longer than that. To spare his severe embarrassment I shall not reveal his true identity but shall use the pseudonym "JM".

I have known JM for over 40 years. In fact I first set eyes on him in May 1968. Who knows what dark secrets I could reveal?

Alternatively I could explain to the members why Quanta officers are almost always called "John". But considering that my last contribution to the Quanta Magazine with its references to my contacts with the oldest profession was deemed unsuitable for the tender souls who are members of Quanta and that my "John" story is much nearer the knuckle, I shall resist the temptation,

Best wishes,

Geoff

PS Please forgive the levity of the email, but today is a very special day. As a sign of respect to our two Scottish QL Today writers I had a rather large wee dram with my haggis, tatties and neeps.
