Hi , Derek,
There's one point that puzzles me;a Qubide file called
"storeh" lists 'master' and 'slave' ;but when I exec it it only
recognise 'master' and shows 'slave' to be nil.
To use your Omega I will have to unplug the CDrom so if you let me know
how much you want for it we can perhaps do a deal.

Store_sh (or _I2C) is used to store drive parameters in the RAM part of
SuperHermes (or Minerva MK2 I2C), to speed up startup procedures. If you
are likely to switch often between IOmega and CD this is not a handy
option to use.
I have a Syquest EZ135 connected as slave and for it to work you need to
have a disc in the drive at bootup. I expect it's the same for the Zip.
After that you can use the WIN_DRIVE command to mount or unmount the disc.
This is unlike a CD drive which is recognised without a CD.
