John, you can get a replacement manual for this printer from my website:

It lists the code, which IIRC is a subset of very basic Epson commands,
including a 60 dots per inch graphics mode. Control codes are listed from
page 21.
Some of Quill's simpler printer drivers like the Epson FX80 might be able to
drive it, although check if the end-of-line character combination is right,
as I can't remember if it needs LF (10), CR (13), or both.
