UQLX is not esy to compile on modern versions of Linux and the version on the web may not run properly on modern versions.
My 500 MgHz machine using SUSE 800 seems to compile and run with no problem. I have a version which compiles with a two year old AMD but there are problems with it running properly. Richard Zidlicky is working on a version to run on modern machines and modern versions of Linux. Anyway if you would like to try SQLUG's modifications we will send you details of the changes we have tried.
