Hi Rich,
The manual does not explain that I needed to pass WIN_FORMAT 3 -
silly me!!
Doesn't it? Yes, it is not 100% clear. The text states "allow the drive
to be formatted", and the example shows WIN_FORMAT 1 for drive 1...
Is there a minimum size for a QXL.WIN file? 1MB or lower?
I have never tried FORMAT Win1_0.5 :-)
Cheers Jochen
FORMAT win1_0.5 gives an invalid name - although I love how the FORMAT
command returns 512/512 sectors, then DIR gives you 2040/2048 sectors....
QXLTools also can only handle 1MB
See page 13 QPC2 manual:
The Win_FORMAT command is:
WIN_FORMAT windrive, access
where
windrive = 1 - 8
access = 0 - Access Denied
= 1 - Can be formatted.
So you command should be:
WIN_FORMAT 3,1
FORMAT win3_10
WIN_FORMAT 3,0
If you leave the windrive number out it defaults to 1
