I remember my father getting me one of the curvy black CUB monitors for
my QL, at the time I though the picture quality was awesome. QL Chess
would be left running for hours
just so i could marvel at how good it looked.

hi there

i hope someone might find this useful:

i recently got my hands on a ql and a few other bits, mostly thanks to
rwap. thanks rich :-)

the only thing missing was a decent display, after a bit of digging
around i thought i would email microvitec ([email protected]) to
ask them about the TTL compatible LCD units they have.

bad news: these go for over a grand.

good news: they still have a number of refurbished CUB monitors. i got
one of the original QL specific ones which is working perfectly for £60,
i couldn't afford one of these when i was young(er) so that made my
day.

cheers

fern
