There seems to be a lot going on despite the rapid reduction in
contributions (as usual in the summer months) to the QUANTA Magazine.
Very many contributors to this list have made a very welcome return
recently after lurking for some considerable time. (Even I can be
labelled a short term Lurker!) Are any of you prepared to send me an
article for publication in the QUANTA Magazine - maybe in our 'Points of
View' section which, in the past few months has been a regular feature.
Our chairman (and others) have made an effort to extract snippets from
the entries on this list to stimulate a few topics of interest.
Are you prepared to spend a few of your spare minutes between your QLing
and the next World Cup Match to help her out or as she suggests will you
all just sit back and leave it all to her and other WORKING Members of
the QUANTA Committee?
When did you last make your views known?
Or are you one of the many who sit back and criticise the efforts of
those who are trying to do something POSITIVE. I know which side I would
rather be on!
Two recent events which seem to have gone well are the Workshop/meeting
in Austria over the long weekend of 3rd to 6th June, organised by
Gerhard Plavec and the more recent Vintage Computer Festival at
Bletchley Park where we were ably represented by Rich Mellor.
Is anyone prepared to write a brief report on either (or both) of these
events with supporting High quality photographs?
Do not be put off by your limited knowledge of the English Language or
grammar as we can edit your contribution as required.
All submissions (however large or small) to Editor AT QUANTA DOT org DOT uk
Thank you in anticipation
John Gilpin.
Acting QUANTA Editor.
