I think sometimes the confirmation emails are classed as spam. I think yahoo mail stuck mine in the junk folder as it did with an email from this mailing list :)

However, the first e-mail giving notice of the site did not come through to my Apple MAC though it was in google mail. I only knew about the site by reading replies to the original. More oddly perhaps, is that I don't get a copy from the list of e-mails I send to the list unless I copy them to myself. Hmm!
