e-mails I send to the list unless I copy them to myself.

I have *exactly* the same issue for all mailing lists under Gmail.
All was OK when we used our own server.
I have not found a solution.
It has been suggested that the returned mail has the same message ID and
Gmail filters it out.
Any ideas would be welcome.
I thought I might be able to set a Thunderbird filter, but it only works
on *one* folder.
A clue, which supports the message ID theory.
If I send mail via a different smtp server, and not gmail, my sent mail
*does* get echoed back to the mailing list.
... so try another smtp server. There should be plenty of free ones,
including your ISP presumably.
