Subject: [Ql-Users] Outputting from QPC to HTML

I have a few documents (a fair size) which were written in Text 87.

Using QPC + QPCPrint, I can output them to PDF, but ideally I would like to get them into HTML or another format suitable to put on the web.

Does anyone have suggestions as to the best way of achieving this?

I doubt if there is any QL means of doing this. The file formatting of Text87 is very different from those of the other QL word processors and no one seems to have unravelled its mysteries.

If it's fairly simple files with just say plain and bold text you could try the HTML routines in QL-2-PC Transfer, but one the whole I do not recommend the program for Text87 users,

The best bet would probably be virtual printer drivers for the PC. I have one called Paperless Printer which claims to produce HTML among other possibilities, but I don't know how good it is. Nor can I remember where I got it. I think you would have to try googling the name,

Best Wishes,

Geoff.
