Rules of thumb:
 - If the sprite is a complete solid rectangle, don't use any mask.
 - If the sprite is QL mode and has a shape, use a bitmask
 - If the sprite is high colour, use alpha mask

Apparently GWASS supports LIB/INCBIN, so it should be fairly straight
forward.
