There was talk of doing just that - I think Keith Mitchell had a go. Did
anyone ever produce such a layout?
That was one of my early bodges,
A "backplane" or threeway/64way connector,
512Ram stuck out a little on the left.
Strip board used for plane, dropped down socket for floppy I/face,
Still room for cable & drive to the right.
mdv's removed, passthru links making edge conn' for mdv1.
A deep base folded out of used offsetlitho plate.
