I think, the problem is, that a few very good programmers have given us an
excellent OS....but noone writes programs, that really uses this. As I have
written a few times: Using PE from SBasic is too complicated for a lot of
people (including me). QPTR is too complicated (I have used it!). And I
fear, Turbo_PTR is a similar thing, ok, never tried.
It seems, that most people seems to try to run old QL programs on it. But
that is not what SMSQ/E is intended for. For that, you better use your old
QL or QemuLator.
Not everyone is a programmer, so what do you want to do with QPC? Copying
files? Even text87 is a bit of its own compared to such simple programs like
Open Office (for free!) on a PC.
I think, missing programs are one of the most problems with SMSQ/E.
