Hi Malcolm,
So far so good!
The good thing about "old-timer's" memory is that the long-term is still there
even after the short-term goes to crap. I built my first QL from a kit back in
1985 - 27 years ago!! I don't know if it was sold as a kit in the UK but was
in North America by A+ Computer Response...the main QL seller at the time... as
a way to get the QL into the marketplace.
Getting updated versions of software I've bought would be great but the problem
is the carts are failing fast...hence my wanting to copy them. I no longer
have any of the Psion carts functioning but I do have Exchange on disk so safe
there.
The QL Forum site is also new to me and is excellent as well. I'll pass on the
URL to those QL users here "across the pond" who aren't familiar with it.
