QPC2 reads the keyboard at a lower level than QemuLator, mostly
because that method is more in line with how SMSQ/E handles keyboards.
So, if you press ALT and 3, that's ALT+3 in SMSQ/E, not "#". SMSQ/E
doesn't know the concept of ALT altering a keyboard key, just SHIFT,
CTRL and ALT+GR.

I'm glad that the ALTKEY workaround works for you.
