I live in the UK and have a BT ADSL connection (400 metres by wire to the exchange).

Generally, bandwidth was in the order of 6 to 8Mbps - usually the latter provided I did not switch of my router too frequently.

Move over copper, glass has arrived.

Stable reported speed (W/Xp system tray) for the past 3 days? 21.3Mbps.

I like glass... and I had to tell someone. ;-) [Also might be of teccy interest - eh?]
