I believe the QL can already be emulated on the Raspberry Pi by way of the MESS emulator. There was talk of running SMSQ a while back but I'm not sure that was ever achieved. However Trump card + memory and Sandy SuperDisk emulation was implemented.

Did that include disk access to get files in and out of MESS? That was a problem with the early versions I looked at - the emulation ran pretty OK but at the time there was no disk access.

Yet another way to get QL on the R-pi! It would be useful to have a folder with details of all known working or proposed emulations for QL on the R-pi. I've been pointed by an Oracle chap to a lot of info on Java and the R-pi, which should fit in with Wolfgang's work. And we have the uqxl route. There seem to be a lot of folk trying in their own way, not surprising with the huge numbers of R-pi getting into circulation. How about it Dilwyn? I'll provide what I can.

Remember I have no knowledge of neither Java nor Raspberry Pi, Bryan!

I don't mind hosting suitable stuff but would need someone with the knowledge and time to keep it going.

Once the emulators are stable enough for public release I'd happily see what we can do. (Emulator authors: keep me informed!)

I appreciate your position, Dilwyn. However I feel that somewhere we could do with a Raspberrypi section to collate all activities attempting to get an emulation going. I guess effort will be into getting old games going which is what NESS is about, but that isn't my interest at all so I wouldn't pick up on it. Perhaps it should be on the R-pi site, but someone needs to put it there.
