Just realised I'm guilty of the same oops it's Woflgang as Dilwyn, so two apologies to the same man in one day (unfortunately I don't think it's a first for me) I take some comfort in that with a surname of Waugh I'm well used to variation, not sure if it's a Gaelic thing but it's mostly the English that can't pronounce it, should be as in the Scots pronunciation of Loch
the CH is a soft sound made in the back of the throat.
