Yes. The program was quite nice for the time, but it has no SSL
encryption, so connecting to a mail server could become problematic
today. My provider has announced that it soon will reject all but SSL
encrypted connections.

Yes, but no "a". CP2200-GQ is the exact order code.

Thats what I did in case of webbrowser and servers. It was not
straightforward, but doable. This way you won't get a nice GUI however.
So in case of the email program, I did it the hard way of writing
pointer environment software.

Later on I implemented a new QDOS GUI, derived from DEPUI, which
completely replaces the Pointer Environment. It has some potential to
allow easier porting of C written GUI programs. But finishing and
documenting it, was beyond the time I could spend.

I hope to be able to demo some of stuff we talk about at "QL is 30".
Depends on wether I find the time to set up a portable Q60.
