I'm sure I've mentioned before, but I have already OCR'ed the book. I
have Chapters 1-9 in Doc format. Chapters 10-11 are still in .txt
format. What I did not do is scan the images/diagrams. They will need
to be scanned and then inserted into the document. I'm willing to pass
on what I have done to someone else to continue the work, or jointly
work on the project.
The real next step is to get permission from Jan Jones to make to book
releasable under a Creative Commons license. Since Quanta had a past
agreement with Jan, can Quanta make the first approach?
