The system works fine even if you switch off all the gimmicks, which
basically leaves you with a pretty, but slow, W7 - a reasonable
platform for running QPC2, whilst maintaining the forced dependency on
"progress", in one box. On older laptops (perhaps) and desktop
machines, I presume W10 can be contained by taking suitable
precautions (provided M$ isnt being even more devious than it admits
to). Its quite something else to carry it around on a telephone with
your whole life on it!
